Shaft

Male Genetalia Internal Side ViewThe two corpora cavernosa and corpus songiosum (also known as the corpus cavernosum) are three expandable erectile tissues along the length of the penis which fill with blood during penile erection. The two corpora cavernosa lie along the penis shaft, from the pubic bones to the head of the penis, where they join. These formations are made of a sponge-like tissue containing irregular blood-filled spaces lined by endothelium and separated by connective tissue septa.
The male anatomy has no vestibular bulbs, but instead a corpus spongiosum, a smaller region along the bottom of the penis, which contains the urethra and forms the glans penis.

In English? The shaft part of the penis is the long cylindrical part that visibly goes from the balls to the head. Its muscle and fills with blood when aroused.

How it functions sexually

Male Genetalia ExternalLike any muscle it loves a good massage. Stroke at a pace and pressure that you or your partner enjoys, everyone is different so play it by ear and read their body language. If they are tense (in a bad way) you may be using too much pressure, or they may be chafing and it could be time for some lubricant.

Tip

Go ambidextrous baby! A good two hander can be a beautiful thing. Place yourself below the penis, facing your partner. lace your fingers and make a tube (like you were giving a ‘shot-gun’ for those of you into smoking) around the penis. Stoke up and down changing the pressure you use with your fingers, while your thumbs massage the shaft along the bottom. When you reach the head run your thumbs over it slowly. This ‘ling-ham massage’ is best with lubricant. When giving a hand-job, consistent flow is what will make the difference. If you want to change the pace up or down do it with a flow. Let your hands move like waves.

Glans

Male Genetalia Internal Side ViewThe glans plural “glandes” is a vascular structure located at the tip of the penis in male mammals or a homologous genital structure of the clitoris in female mammals.

In English? The glans is the tip, the head of the penis in males and the part of the clitoris in females that you cannot see (or you could not if not for circumcision) until arousal has begun.

How they function sexually

Male Genetalia ExternalIn males, the head of the penis (or glans) is often the most sensitive part of their penis. Be gentle or firm with it depending on what your partner likes. Massaging, licking and sucking are found to be very pleasurable.
– See clitoris for all the fun details on the female buddy.

Tip

Close your mouth over the head of the penis, suck as much of the penis into your mouth as you can fit and when you can feel the head at the back of your throat constrict your throat muscles around it. This is deep throating. If you are wondering what and how this works- practice without a penis in your mouth. Yawn wide, feel those muscles and membranes move around back there. Get a Popsicle!

Testicles

Male Genetalia Internal Side ViewThe testicle is the male gonad.

Like the ovaries to which they are homologous, testes are components of both the reproductive system and the endocrine system. The primary functions of the testes are to produce sperm and to produce androgens, primarily testosterone.

Almost all healthy male vertebrates have two testes. They are typically of similar size, although in sharks, that on the right side is usually larger. The testes are often contained within an extension of the abdomen called the scrotum.

How they function sexually

Male Genetalia ExternalThe testicles are extremely sensitive, and every male likes their played with differently. Gentle cupping and stroking is usually welcomed.

Tip

Never neglect the balls. You don’t have to find them beautiful, but chances are they are important to your partner. Too often women neglect the balls, don’t do it. Love them, lick them, suck them and tell him how great they are. Confidence is key.

Prostate

Male Genetalia Internal Side ViewA gland within the male reproductive system that is located just below the bladder. The prostate is located 3-4 inches inside the rectum and behind the frontal wall (towards the belly button). The secretion of the prostate is a milky fluid that is discharged into the urethra at the time of the ejaculation of semen. When stimulated –or ‘milked’- it can cause heightened orgasm, full body orgasms and increase the amount of ejaculation. AKA: Walnut, P-Spot, Male G-spot.

How it functions sexually

Male Genetalia ExternalThe function of the prostate is to secrete a slightly alkaline fluid, milky or white in appearance, that usually constitutes 50–75% of the volume of the semen along with spermatozoa and seminal vesicle fluid. Semen is made alkaline overall with the secretions from the other contributing glands, including, at least, the seminal vesicle fluid. The alkalinity of semen helps neutralize the acidity of the vaginal tract, prolonging the lifespan of sperm. The alkalinization of semen is primarily accomplished through secretion from the seminal vesicles. The prostatic fluid is expelled in the first ejaculate fractions, together with most of the spermatozoa. In comparison with the few spermatozoa expelled together with mainly seminal vesicular fluid, those expelled in prostatic fluid have better motility, longer survival and better protection of the genetic material.

The prostate also contains some smooth muscles that help expel semen during ejaculation.

To stimulate the prostate manually: Using lubricant and insert a finger into a male anus. Once your finger is inserted past the tightest of the muscles tissue, curve your finger towards the public bone- whatever position your partner is in, the p-spot is towards their front. You should feel a bundle of tissue that is different from the rest of the anal canal. The prostate feels to the touch like a small sac, about the size of a grape. Gently rub it with your finger, adding or relieving pressure.

Tip

You do not have to go in the anus to stimulate the prostate. It can often be aroused via the perineum.

Anus

anus internalThe human anus (from Latin anūs meaning “ring”, “circle”) is the external opening of the rectum. Two sphincters control the exit of feces from the body during an act of defecation, which is the primary function of the anus. These are the internal anal sphincter and the external anal sphincter, which are circular muscles that normally maintain constriction of the orifice and which relaxes as required by normal physiological functioning. The inner sphincter is involuntary and the outer is voluntary.

With anal sex, the anus can play a role in sexuality. Attitudes towards anal sex vary and it is illegal in some countries. The anus is often considered a taboo part of the body, and it is known by a large number of usually vulgar slang terms.

The anus has a relatively high concentration of nerve endings and is an erogenous zone, which can make anal intercourse pleasurable for both the insertive partner and the receptive partner.

In addition to nerve endings, pleasure from anal intercourse occurs due to the shared wall between the anus and the prostate for males and vagina/G-Spot for females. This allows for indirect stimulation of the G-Spot or clitoral legs in women, and prostate in men.

How it functions sexually

For a male insertive partner, the tightness of the anus can be a source of pleasure via the tactile pressure on the penis. Pleasure from the anus can also be achieved through anal masturbation, fingering, fisting, facesitting, anilingus, and other penetrative and non-penetrative acts. Anal stretching can stimulate the nerves around the anus and can be considered pleasurable. Care must be taken to maintain elasticity. Lubricant is widely regarded as a necessity while performing anal sex.

Tip

Take it easy, take it slow and work your way to a comfortable experience. Lubricant is an absolute must. Start by stimulating the anus externally, enjoy the pleasure derived from all those awesome nerve endings. If you are looking for penetration, start small and work your way up. If you are using an inanimate object, please make the effort to use a proper sex toy. Something with a base on it to ensure that it does not go somewhere a nurse will have to follow to get it back.

Perineum

In human anatomy, the perineum is a region of the body including the perianal body and surrounding structures. There is some variability in how the boundaries are defined, but the term generally includes the genitals and anus. It is an erogenous zone for both males and females.

How it functions sexually

The perineum like just about everything below the belt is jam pack with nerve endings and muscles. Stroking, massaging, licking and even lightly tapping can be very pleasurable. Don’t neglect the t’aint!

Tip

If you and you partner have not yet experimented with anal, you may find that teasing this area is wonderfully arousing. Simply being left to guess how far they will go, or how far you will go could be enough to bring about those sexy taboo feelings!

The Perineum is also a fantastic way to stimulate the prostate externally but applying a light pressure.

Nipples

Males have nipples just like females, they do not serve the same purpose as breast feeding, but they can be just as fun! They are Jam packed with nerve endings.

How they function sexually

Lick and stroke a rub your partners nipples like you would like them to yours, this is always a great place to start- Do Unto Others! Try light teeth action; take the nipple gently between your teeth and flick and rub your tongue over it.

Tip

During sex, continue to stimulate their nipples. Rub your thumbs over them, lick and blow over them. Having this stimulation along with other sex acts can be incredibly stimulating
