A dildo is a non-vibrating or vibrating insertable toy, usually shaped for vaginal or anal play. Dildos come in many materials, sizes and shapes, from lifelike designs to colourful abstract ones.

Materials and styles

Silicone is soft, smooth and body-safe, and is the most common choice. Glass is firm, non-porous and can be warmed or cooled for temperature play. Realistic dildos have a natural look and feel, while suction cup models stick to a flat surface for hands-free use. Many dildos are also harness compatible and can be worn with a strap-on.

Start with a size you feel comfortable with and check the insertable length and the diameter on the product page. Pair any dildo with a good lubricant, water-based for silicone toys, and clean it with warm water and toy cleaner after use.
