What are impact toys?

Impact toys are tools for spanking and striking in consensual play. They include paddles, floggers, crops and whips, and each has a different feel. A paddle gives a solid, concentrated thud. A flogger has many soft tails that feel heavier or lighter depending on the material. A crop is precise and gives a sharp sting.

Start with something soft and light, and warm up the skin before using stronger strikes. Aim for fleshy areas such as the buttocks and thighs, and avoid the spine, the kidneys and the joints. Agree on a safe word, check in with your partner and stop if anything hurts in a way that is not wanted.
