What is a prostate massager?

A prostate massager is an anal toy with a curve that targets the prostate, a gland that sits a few inches inside the rectum and is full of nerve endings. Stimulation of this area can produce deep, powerful sensations for many men and for anyone with a prostate.

Models come with or without vibration, and with a flared base for safety. Choose a slim, soft, body-safe toy to begin with, add plenty of water-based lubricant and go slowly, letting the body relax. Many are rechargeable and waterproof. Wash the toy before and after each use with warm water and toy cleaner.

Many people find that relaxing the body with slow breathing makes prostate play more comfortable. A small amount of extra lubricant goes a long way.
