Masks and blindfolds

Taking away sight makes the other senses stronger. A blindfold turns every touch, sound and whisper into a surprise, which is why it is one of the most popular first steps into play. Masks go further, adding anonymity and fantasy, and some cover the whole head or the eyes only.

Soft satin, leather and neoprene are common materials. Choose a comfortable fit that stays in place without pressing on the eyes. Agree on a safe word and a signal before you start, especially if you plan to also use restraints. Wipe leather and wet-look masks with a damp cloth and wash fabric ones by hand.
