Perfumes and pheromones

A scent can set the mood for a night. This section includes body mists, perfumes and fragrances designed to feel sensual, and products that include pheromones, which are marketed as helping to attract attention.

Apply perfume to pulse points such as the wrists, the neck and behind the ears, and use a light hand, as the scent is stronger on warm skin. Test on a small area to be sure of no reaction. Store fragrances away from light and heat so that they last longer. A perfume also makes a thoughtful gift.

Layer a scent by applying a lotion with a similar note first, which helps it to last longer. Store it in a drawer, away from sunlight.
