What is a butt plug?

A butt plug is an anal toy with a tapered tip, a wider middle and a narrow neck that rests inside the body, with a flared base that keeps it from slipping in too far. Plugs are made to be worn, which adds a feeling of fullness during sex, solo play or just for fun.

Plugs come in sizes from small to large, and in silicone, glass and metal. Beginners should choose a small, soft silicone plug, go slowly and use plenty of lubricant. Silicone toys need a water-based lube. Never use a toy without a flared base in the anus. Wash it before and after use and store it away from other toys.
